The companies are not named in research by the Canterbury District Health Board - but they are Mega Air and Flip Out, which both opened in the city in August last year.Ī report, published by the New Zealand Medical Journal today, shows in the 90 days after the parks opened, there were 602 claims to ACC in Christchurch for trampoline-related injuries and 106 hospital presentations. Will never recommend.Trampoline injuries have tripled in three months. Disappointing really after how much the parents paid for the party. Whilst the kids kept playing it was still added pressure on the parents which is not acceptable after having to pay for a host that really wasn't present and clearly had no interest at being there at all. Parents had to clear plates and ask for more drinks along the way. The host made no attempt to 'host' the party and organize it all. So the parents had to hang around for another hour waiting for the kids to eat and then do the birthday cake. After several conversations the pizza turned up once all the parents had arrived to take their kids home, which was when the party was due to finish. After the mum approached them it was clear they had no idea what was going on. 1 hour the kids food had not been provided and the host had not even approached the parents to let them know what was going on. On arrival sandwiches were provided for the adults. I was at a 9 year old birthday party yesterday where included in the package was a host for the 2 hour session.
